A decoiler unwinds the coil and feeds it into the steel roofing machine, where 15 to 20 stations in a row bend the strip a little at a time until the trapezoidal profile is there. Once the encoder counts off the set length, the line pauses and a hydraulic cutter shears the sheet to size. A PLC cabinet with a touch screen runs the cycle, so the operator types in the sheet length and the piece count and walks away. The welded frame carries Cr12 heat-treated rollers, and the finished sheets slide out onto a manual exit table.

The heat-treated rollers hold up against zinc-coated strip, and one person can watch the whole line. A: We build it for a 1000 mm raw coil that rolls into an 840 mm effective sheet. Send us another width and we will rework the station layout.
Q: Do you ship the whole line together?

Q: Can this steel roofing machine also roll wall sheets?
