Product Features
Continuously Adjustable Web Height
Utilizes a lead screw lifting mechanism; the web height adjustment range is 80–300 mm, with a digital display accuracy of ±0.5 mm. No roll replacement is required.
01
Independent Fine-Tuning of Flange Width
The left and right flanges can be adjusted independently to vary their widths, supporting asymmetrical flange designs (e.g., 50 mm upper flange, 60 mm lower flange) to meet non-standard requirements.
02
In-Line Servo Punching
Punching is performed while the material is still in a flat sheet state prior to forming. Hole spacing is controlled by a servo feeding system, ensuring a cumulative error of ≤±1 mm. Punching dies can be changed rapidly to accommodate both round and oval holes.
03
Die Cutting with Clean End Faces
Upper and lower contour dies perform a single-pass cut through the web, flanges, and lips. The cut cross-section is free of burrs and deformation, requiring no secondary trimming.
04
High Machine Body Rigidity; Suitable for High-Strength Steel
The gantry-style frame undergoes welding and tempering treatment. The forming rolls are made of Cr12MoV steel, which is quenched to a hardness of HRC 58–62, enabling stable production of purlins made from Q420-grade steel.
05
Application Scenarios
Steel Structure Buildings
Creates main structural components for industrial workshops and warehouses.
01
Prefabricated Construction
Manufactures framing components for pre-engineered metal buildings.
02
Roofing Systems
Produces support purlins for roof panels and cladding systems.
03
Shelving and Racking
Constructs load-bearing components for storage systems.
04
Infrastructure Projects
Provides structural elements for bridges, platforms, and walkways.
05
Equipment Quality Inspection
Incoming Component Inspection: Critical components-such as roll blanks, bearing housings, and gears-undergo 100% inspection. Roll profiles are spot-checked using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), and hardness is spot-checked on three samples per batch, with a required range of HRC 58–62.
In-Process Inspection: The machine frame undergoes annealing treatment after welding, followed by a flatness check (tolerance: ≤0.5 mm/m). The coaxiality of all shaft bores is verified using a "Go/No-Go" mandrel gauge test; no binding or jamming is permitted.
Post-Assembly Dry Run: The main machine unit operates continuously for 2 hours. During this test, the bearing temperature rise must not exceed 35°C, gearbox noise levels must remain ≤75 dB, and no abnormal vibrations are permitted.
Material Trial Run: The machine produces 200 meters of material continuously using steel strips of the specifications designated by the customer. Dimensions (web height, flange width, lip angle, and length) are spot-checked every 10 meters. The dimensional deviation of the first and last produced pieces must fall within the design tolerances. Lateral bending (camber) must not exceed 2 mm per 3 meters, and the cut edges must remain free of burrs and deformation.
Factory Documentation: We provide inspection reports (including actual test data and links to machine trial videos), foundation layout drawings, electrical schematics, lists of wear parts, and QR codes for assembly instruction videos.
Company Production Capabilities

Our facility is equipped with a comprehensive array of advanced machinery, including large-scale CNC gantry milling machines, floor-type boring and milling machines, high-precision lathes, and vertical machining centers. This enables us to independently process large-scale components-such as machine frames, roll shafts, and arch-style stands-entirely in-house. Furthermore, we manufacture all forming rolls, leveling rolls, and punching dies ourselves; by avoiding reliance on external outsourcing, we maintain full control over production lead times. We typically produce 8 to 12 C-purlin machines per month-covering both standard and custom configurations-and are fully capable of simultaneously handling two to three export orders without issue. Our technical team possesses extensive experience in cross-section optimization and pass design; upon receiving customer blueprints, we can typically complete the roll layout and structural strength verification within one week.
FAQ
Q1: What types of C purlin profiles can this machine produce?
A: Our machine can produce various C-shaped profiles with web widths from 80mm to 300mm, flange widths from 30mm to 80mm, and lip sizes from 10mm to 20mm, customizable to your specific requirements.
Q2: How long does it take to change between different profile sizes?
A: With our quick-adjustment system, you can change between different profile sizes in approximately 15-30 minutes without replacing any tooling components.
Q3: What is the expected service life of the C purlin roll forming machine?
A: With proper maintenance, our roll forming machines have an average service life of 10-15 years. Key components come with a 1-year warranty and we provide lifelong technical support.
